This month, we are featuring our soon to be Mr. + Mrs.! Here is their story:

Lisa and Matt met through mutual friend, Lily Chowana-Bandhu Parker in late January 2007. Here is how it all began....

During one normal day at work, Lily emailed Lisa to ask if she was single. Lisa replied, yes, but would only consider if she saw a picture first. Picture was sent. Lisa thought that Matt was cute, especially with that smile. Of course, Lisa had some follow-up questions. "What does he do for a living?", "Where is he from?", "How old is he?" Lily replied and said that Matt was younger...a current senior at USC, and was from Hawaii. She also mentioned that he didn't have a car or any means of transportation, other than the dart cart at USC. Lisa said why not, and asked Lily to give her phone number and email to Matt. Lisa and Matt talked for a couple of months, and on March 3, 2007 decided that this relationship was special, and officially became boyfriend/girlfriend.The two were able to meet members of each others families, and a few months later, after defining the relationship, Lisa was accepted to graduate school in Seattle. Although, they've managed the ups and downs of a long distance relationship for two years, they've made it through, and grew closer in their relationship.

On June 22, 2013, also Matt's birthday, Matt surprised Lisa with a marriage proposal surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of their home.
